It’s been 9-months since India started the vaccination drive in Jan-21. As of end Sep-21, the coverage stood at: 1) 1st dose: 46.7% of the total population, and 2) 2nd dose: 17.2% of the total population. Barring the loss of momentum seen in May-21, the daily pace of vaccination has been steadily moving up. In Sep-21, the daily average pace of vaccination stood at 7.9 mn doses, up from 5.9 mn in Aug-21. In fact, the daily pace of vaccination nearly doubled in Sep-21 vis-à-vis Jun-21.
